How many sessions do I need?
Laser treatments impair the growth capacity of the hair follicles when they are in the active growth stage (anagen). Not all follicles are active at the same time and several treatments, every few weeks, may be necessary to obtain the desired result.
The number of treatments to achieve hair reduction varies
Most experiences a marked reduction in the hair growth in 4 - 8 treatments.
As a general rule you will require at least 8 treatments one month apart to obtain best results.
Is it necessary to follow the entire plan?
Many make the mistake or error of not completing their treatment regime. SHR is designed for hair reduction, but it requires consistent treatments monthly to see long-lasting hair removal results. You will start to see noticeable results, as each session is able to target about 17% to 33% of all hair follicles. The plan is to keep full filling treatments while you have hair growth. If no hair- no treatment until you notice regrowth.
